BALDHEADS

Thanks to Brian McCormick for giving me the start in black baldheads, which is probably my favorite color. I mainly breed the baldheads in the most common solid colors and their dilutes -- black/dun, red/yellow.

Black Bald Young Hen #7534-06

Best Bald and Reserve Champ at the Great Western in Watsonville and then Reserve Bald at the Des Moines NPA National.

Dun Baldhead Young Hen #7524-06

Cleanly marked with good color and was Champion at the SCWOETC Aug. 2006 Show.

Selfs / Mottles / Patterns

My black selfs / mottles / andalusians were started from the stock of a few breeders, mainly Bob Christman and Doug Boyland and Bill Henderson.
In 2005 I also began breeding red selfs and mottles. I started with a red self hen of Terry Bishop's (nestmate to the 2004 Pageant Champ hen) and a couple of reds from Doug Boyland.
From that start I bred the red self cock below that was National Champion in Detroit in 2008.

2010 WESTERN REGIONAL CHAMPION

This Black Self young cock had an exceptional show season in 2010. He was Champion at both the Western Regional in Fresno and again at the NWOETC District 6 Show in Los Angeles.

2011 NPA National CHAMPION (San Diego)

This young Black Mottle hen was Best Mottle at the NWOETC District 6 Show in Los Angeles and then became a National Champion in San Diego in January 2011.

Best Red & Reserve Self District 6

This young Red Self was one of my favorites from the 2010 season. He was Best Red and Reserve Self at the District 6 Show in Los Angeles.

NPA National RESERVE CHAMPION

Andalusian OH was Champion at the NWOETC District 5 Show in Oregon and then Reserve Champion at the NPA National in San Diego.
